Glastonbury
We have been privileged to be involved in Glastonbury festival for over 10 years. A superb event that that never ceases to amaze. Although it is a music festival it is the creative side of things that make it different. You could happily go for the whole 5 days and not go to the bigger stages but explore the huge site and terrific atmosphere.
They say it always rains at Glastonbury festival, this is certainly not the case for the last few years. In 2010 it was ridiculously hot which was lovely but not great for working in a kitchen. We still had a great time and ended up supplying a whole roasted pig for the back stage party.
We use a local butcher, John Thorner, to supply us with great local pork for the festival.
